Why was Drupal choosen?
Drupal was chosen as the backend for its robustness, flexibility and scalability to handle complex content and business processes. It is a highly secure, modular and open source platform, which allows for easy customization and integration with other systems such as OKS and SAP. In addition, its capacity to manage large volumes of information and its active community guarantee constant support and updates, ensuring long-term sustainable development.
Product description
This new version has been migrated to Drupal and Next.js, offering a more intuitive, modern and efficient interface. The portal architecture is based on a backend in Drupal and a frontend in Next.js, where the backend communicates with OKS and SAP, and the frontend displays OKS through iFrames, ensuring a smooth and optimized integration.
Among the key requirements, the need for a flexible and secure infrastructure was established, with Drupal managing the business logic, Next.js providing seamless navigation and iFrames enabling OKS display. In addition, security and availability were prioritized to maintain the integrity of the portal.
As a result, the new platform offers greater scalability, stability and usability, ensuring more efficient access to business services and data without affecting the portal's operability, thus achieving a successful launch.
