The RAA is a protocol in charge of the recognized self-regulatory entities of appraisers where the appraisers' information is registered, kept and updated, in accordance with the Appraiser's Law.
The registration of appraisers in the RAA is an obligation from the moment the operation of the first Recognized Self-Regulatory Entity is authorized by the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce. For the general public, the Open Register of Appraisers only offers the service of verification of the authenticity of the certificate provided by the corresponding appraiser.
