Today version 8.1.5 was released , a version that is part of the cycle of updates planned by the kernel maintenance team,
To update, it is recommended to follow the steps mentioned in the following drupal.org article: https://www.drupal.org/node/2700999
For this version, some drawbacks have been identified that could affect people who have a very specific hosting environment:
- There are no commit tests yet for behavior with MySQL 5.7.9 and MariaDB 10.1.8, both released in October 2015, yet there are no known issues for these versions, commit tests for these databases will be added in the future.
- Particular Apache configurations may have issues serving public file resources, the issue is listed at https://www.drupal.org/node/2619250
